![]() ![]() Any mobs (including hostile mobs) can come through the portals, so you'll want to be careful where you place them. Your items do not travel with you through the portal (including armor). Potentially, you can see through the portal to the other side. You can build portals as big as you would like. If you do not build a glass border, then the portal will not activate. Putting dyed glass (or regular glass) around the enchanted glass will link two portals of the same glass color. Because you can build more than one two-mirror portals, there needs to be a way to link one to the other. ![]() Once you want to go back to base, you can build a magic mirror out of the enchanted glass. This means you can explore much further without the fear of getting lost. For example, you could build a magic mirror at your main base, then go exploring while carrying the enchanted glass. It will not teleport you between dimensions (such as from the overworld to the nether or the nether to the end), but only within the dimension you are currently in. A magic mirror is essentially a portal to wherever you build the second magic mirror.
